@Eugene
1. "...you don’t have any chances to gain it back after it has been lost." This is simply not true.
2. Conditional/partial trust is not trust at all.

Trust has nothing to do with the other person. It has everything to do with you. It is a expression of the way you choose to live your life.

The parties in this conversations assume that:

1. The trust, once gained, is gained forever. This is rather naive since it can be lost much easier than gained. And you don't have any chances to gain it back after it has been lost.

2. The trust is a binary thing: either it exists or it doesn't. This is a bit naive too since trust and its level depend on many circumstances. I trust you in this situation, but not in that; you trust me "to certain extent" (never heard this?); i trust you if my boss trusts you; you trust me on the condition that i prove blah to someone who's opinion is important to you; etc, and so on. Trust is a combination of many subtle things.

I realize that the conversation is not aimed to address any serious matters and is rather fun, but still...

There is an interesting article on this topic by Henrik Kniberg "Kanban vs Scrum - How to make the most of both"
(http://www.crisp.se/henrik.kniberg/Kanban-vs-Scrum.pdf)

Maybe collaborating is better than fighting ;o)

A nicely laid out conundrum to the "which one" battle. We're in this together...so synthesize and evolve.
